Since the age of 16, Uness’ unlimited creative potential has taken him to the four corners of the world, earning him praise and attention from many industry leading executives, producers, and artists.

In 2006, Uness signed a production/artist deal with super-producer Ryan Leslie‘s NextSelection Lifestyle Group as a songwriter/producer/artist. Since then, Uness has written and produced hits such as “Woman Got Culture,” “Over,” (Produced By Mysto & Pizzi) “Taste Your Heartbeat,” “Back To your Heart” “Buggin’ Out” “Not with You” (Cassie), “Do me Right” (Katherine McPhee) and the list goes on…

Alongside his many hits, Uness has released numerous mixtapes including hosting and featuring on “The Future of R&B Vol.12” with New York’s own TapeMasters Inc. in 2007. Two years later, Uness released his official mixtape series called “The Seeker,” which became one of his most applauded solo projects to date.

While on his journey, Uness has performed for fans around the world including the USA, Canada, Germany, France, Switzerland, Costa Rica, Dubai and Morocco. Whether singing on his acoustic guitar in an intimate setting or making timeless records in his personal studio, Uness has always known how to touch his listeners by means of the universal language of music.

In addition to his solo career, Uness began a new cultural movement inspired by the struggle of oppressed youths around the world. Uness made the attempt to offer a non-violent medium of expression by creating Crime in the City (CIC) (summer 2008) – a community-oriented artist collective designed to provide young aspiring artists worldwide with a creative environment.

Uness and Crime in the City have been making records and developing projects with local Montreal acts such as Deejay IZ, Abby, Sony, Le Couz, Psai aka Shmata Boi, Don Ibson, Sarahmée, CeasRock, I.Blast, Tadeeo, OneShot, AK, Preach Ankobia, The Passereens, Fredy V., Just Mugz, The Narcicsyst, Loe Pesci, Spook One, D-Shade, The Loss One, The Mission District, Jacynthe and many more…

This year, Uness will be flooding the virtual social networks worldwide with quality music of all genres and influences, including major collaborations with HipHop rising stars, J.Rocwell, Paris Jones, Tay Dizm, Lil’ Jon as well as talent from the four corners of the world wide web.

This being said, Uness and Crime in The City are always in search of new, talented, and open-minded collaborators.

Finally, it is time for the world to discover the new face of Uness, and be inspired by his passion and unconditional love for music.
